Position

The Product Expansion department at WCF Insurance has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as a Product Analyst Intern. This is a part-time, temporary position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters. This position is a temporary position ending December 2024.

Responsibilities

The Product Analyst Intern works with and provides support to product analysts and/or product managers in the Product department. Responsibilities may include: obtaining and analyzing business insurance product information, focusing on competitiveness and profitability; assisting with the implementation of pricing changes and product feature changes; and analyzing competitor rates and products features. The Product Analyst Intern may also assist in the preparation and maintenance of rate manuals and rating algorithms.

Qualifications

The most qualified Product Analyst Intern candidate will have:

· 2-years of continuous college experience, in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, insurance, math, statistics, or a similar field of study.

· High aptitude for analytical thinking and problem-solving.

· Working knowledge of Excel.

· Ability to identify cause and effect relationships.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Database querying experience encouraged, but not required.

An internal candidate should have six months in their current position, acceptable job performance, and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.

Minimum pay for a Product Analyst Intern is $22 / hr. Successful internships may lead to ongoing employment opportunities. Schedule flexibility is available.
