Position

 

The IT department at WCF Insurance has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as a senior quality assurance analyst. This is a full-time, exempt position based in WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

The senior quality assurance analyst is responsible for implementing test plans and testing the quality of software products. The person in this position coordinates testing of computer applications to meet business needs and enhance program efficiency. The senior quality assurance analyst partners with project leads to provide schedules, data, direction, and detailed test scripts in accordance with the projected product release schedule. The person in this position sets standards and directions for the quality assurance and development groups. This person participates in designing and reviewing system requirements and is the contact for system process expertise. The senior quality assurance analyst recommends improvements in the development process and applications.

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

The senior quality assurance analyst position requires:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, master's degree preferred;
  • At least ten years of experience in business-system analysis and quality assurance testing.
  • At least ten years of experience in process scripting and documentation.
  • Strong understanding and ability to write, execute and document test plans and scripts;
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
